The Constitution is under attack!! Join us for this ongoing discussion about the Supreme Law of the Land. Learn about your rights and how to exercise them in this politically challenging time.

We will meet on a regular basis to discuss the history and roles of the government and how it pertains to you.

    What to Expect:

    Date: November 3, 2019, 5pm.

We will be continuing our discussion on the Bill of Rights. In October, we will be discussing the 6th, 7th and 8th amendment. We will be discussing your right to a jury trial, reasonable bail and protection from cruel and unusual punishment.

Due to the ongoing nature of the class, we ask that you have attended a prior class to join us. If you have not attended an earlier class, you may get permission to attend by contacting a host. (Previous knowledge or a willingness to catch up is needed)

If you haven't gotten the book:

As a guide, we will be using The Idiot's Guide to the US Constitution, 2nd edition as the main resource for our discussions. You can purchase a used copy of Ebay or Amazon for under $10. Here is a direct link for used copies on Amazon. You can also purchase new copies.

A downloadable book can be ordered from the Hamilton County Library for free:

There is no cost for class. However, we do order pizza if you want to enjoy a slice. If possible, please bring cash to contribute. Expect dinner to be about $-7 per person if you order pizza.
